CAT PARENT-TEACHER ORGANIZATION!

MISSION:

Our mission is to support the CAT community.  We believe that in the CAT community everyone has something to offer, a task to do, no matter how small it may seem, that is helpful to the overall effort to support the school.  Because our lives are busier than ever, the need for community is stronger.  Our participation, in whatever way we can, benefits us, our children and our CAT community.

GOALS:

* To provide before school food/nutrition before all state/federal/district testing days.

1. *To provide material and financial support for two student-focused events (to be planning jointly with student committees)
   

2. *To provide planning and financial support for the 2009-2010  Junior/Senior Prom and Commencement Ceremony
   

3. ** To help raise $30,000 to support the City Arts and Tech General Fund
   

FOOD:

Food is a major part of CAT PTO, we strive to feed students and sometimes faculty & support staff at CAT.  We do the sack lunches for Challenge Day (142 made in one morning!)

We do the breakfast for Test Mornings for those students pressed for time before school.

We do the teacher-appreciation lunches for professional workdays, and the CAT all-school BBQ!!!!

That's alot of food!
